Cousins

This one is one of my favorite, I mean like cousins are the best. The people in this photo are people I grew up around when I was very young. The cousins that stay up all night while the parents are playing, the ones that come up with games to play instead of being on our phones. The cousins that watched every movie possible, the cousin that found anything interesting to do at the cottage with no WiFi. Or simply the cousins that you get excited to see when going to a family get together. The ones you grow old with because they will always be around, its the best. It changes us all in every way, we have developed habits around them, or simply have the same humor. These girls right here are who shaped me -Mae, Tracy, Angelica, Larry, Joy. I have to admit this is at Angelica's 6th birthday party but I am glad we all have a picture together. Whats crazy is that we all have never hung out together like that, our parents just happened to have us together that day. But I did enjoy my memories with each and every one of them. Mae is one of my favorites, shes bold, strong and confident. Some very great traits that some people struggle to build. She was down for every adventure and always lived it to the fullest. Beside her is Tracy, the only cousin I hung out with on my dads side growing up. I remember my parents going to the cottage every other weekend in the summer, and wow is it boring there but I would tell myself Tracy would be there it shouldn't be so bad. Every weekend was fun, barely any service down there but we made the most of it. She was the type you had to break into for the first two hours because she was so shy. But it was worth it, because till this day she still has my back and I'll always have hers. Next is Angelica, who I probably fight with the most but we grew up side by side till this day and damn we had some crazy memories and crazy fights but I will always take care of her like she is my little sister. Our relationship consists of me going through my life experiences and warning her what not to do. But she does it anyway haha, but I don't blame her because I was once there and you only learn from your mistakes. But other than that, were pretty much opposites now but that's what makes it so funny. As some might notice, the one next to me is my sister. She grew up alongside us, even when she might've been a little on the older side so sometimes we weren't sure whether to include her or not. But she didn't care because she understood and thought we were weird anyways haha. But yeah Larry was cool, I don't know what happened now but... just kidding Larry. Then next to her we have Joy, the one who was younger than us, and might I add, smart -because shed actually be studying at parties when Mae, Angelica and I would try to sneak some booze. Bad kids let me tell ya, but hey its what makes us. It creates solid memories for the rest of your life. Creates lessons, so you grow up to know better. Opens up your soul to see a different version of yourself, maybe the best even. But that's what its like having cousins, -family. They're the best.
